It was the tallest skyscraper in the world for a long time ago. Most Americans have known something about this skyscraper. Most people in the world have seen or heard twin towers in New York City. It is The World Trade Center. The World Trade Center was a complex of seven buildings in Lower Manhattan which was destroyed in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack.
